A couple of weeks ago, I came on here and said that I was thinking of buying a Bianchi hardtail and several of you responded recommending a Marin or a Cannondale.
As a result, I did the internet stuff, visited a couple of shops in the area and I have just bought a 2006 Cannondale F1000. Now I can see that you like the techy bits so: Optimo frame, Super Fatty Ultra DLR front fork, (that Lefty makes it look as though the wheel is about to fall off any second to my eyes) SRAM X9 with S7 shifters, FSA Afterburner MegaEXo bracket and crank, Mavic Crossland UST rims and Maxxis Larsen TT UST tyres, egg-beater pedals and all that cool stuff. Not a basket in sight. And this baby is quick.
So I'm gonna get some photographs of some downhill lunatic, put 'em on here and pretend that it's me like Nick does. Only kidding Nick.
Seriously. Many thanks to all you lot on here for taking some time.
And if this bit isn't censored. I bought it at Evans at Hendon and they couldn't have been more helpful. Thanks to them, too.
Many thanks again.

Well done sir, I remembered you when I saw Bianchi! As above, Thanks. (good choice on the canny, although i would have had to stick leftys on it!)

I remember you now, Jinja. I had said that budget wasn't an issue and you responded that, on that basis, would I buy you one too!
As it's a 2006 model, it was the only one left in the country!
