Is this a secret, need-to-know only?

Hi,
This may be a dumb question but I'm at a loss, maybe everybody knows except me! I've spent hours looking into this problem(?). Right - I can't find the caliper brake fixing bolts that screw into the lower fork legs on my Manitou Sport 6 shocks. I can't find out what they're called except maybe 'V-brake post mounting bolt' and consequently can't find any (online) unless they maybe come as part of a new V-brake kit but I'm assuming they come as a 'spare part'. Can you help please by (a) Telling me the accepted name of this part if there is one, and (b) telling me if they are available for purchase anywhere?

Hi again,
These are v-brake mounts on both front legs of suspension forks, there are two bolts which fit directly into suspension legs and then brakes fit onto these mounts and are then bolted on. I have not been able to find any of these bolts except one on this site (I include the link to show the kind of thing I look for). Are these bolts available anywhere? I can't find any if they are!
Regards, Paul.

Why not buy that one? Though admitedly the price is steep. Just take your forks into your local shop and they'll have some, we have tonnes of the sodding v-brake bosses lying round our workshop. Couple of quid will get you a pair.
If memory serves then theres only 2 sizes anyways so just take your forks in and the shop should be able to match em up for you.

rookiee good luck. Madison are covering spares for manitou untill the new agent is up and running.
But as a general rule of thumb if it is over 3 years old go whistle. your best bet will be to rummage through some parts bins at your LBS.
wheely man there are more than 2 sizes. Marz have had at least 3 different mounting bolts.
