Havnt been on here much today, Actualy had to work for once,

Have spent all day pumping water out of our workshops as it was 5 inches deep thismorning when I got in,

How has everyone elses day been?

I had to drive through two floods, which was fun.

Including one that'd killed about 4 cars. New VXR astras don't like half metre deep floods by the looks of it.

Half a metre will kill almost anything if you drive like a nob. And if you have a stupid air intake like on an old espace you're pretty much guarenteed to sink.

I once saw a girl in a mini go through a 1M ish flood near my house and make it, the bonnet was completely submerged and yet somehow that damn thing kept going.

I remember watching the old RAC rally years ago, and there was one stage (chattam park IIRC) where every single Astra rally car conked out on the water splash! All of them - works cars and privateers! The really funny thing is that none of the other cars did.[:D]

I cleaned my bike (SX) today. It's battered to fck, i feel quite sorry for it...

I also finally got round to getting a rim and spokes for the front wheel, and I've hidden a set of XT discs at work for me to dig out and buy on Friday.

Good Evening Forumites.

Been on a training course to day - "Effective Communication" apparently Sarcasm isn't a good management tool and calling my team mates "Minions" or "Retards" is classed as either abuse or is derogatory. Meh!

Floods today weren't as bad as yesterday - only a couple of inches at worse.

Tis dry now, but it will rain again before long.
