Do you realise than a left attack shifter is identical to a left x.7 shifter?

Basicaly my rear deore shifter is teh dead. Fancy the attack to open up some room on handle bars and to run with shimano mechs. So whilst I don't need a pair, it would look a little weird with deore/attack.
EDIT: Does the X.7 have the same pull ratio?
