Apparently 6 is the optimum. Any more and your body starts to go into uber sleep mode and you find it v difficult to wake up.

Normally about 7-8 hours for myself.

between 4-6 , which is plenty for me. Then i usually get wasted on fri night and sleep 14 hours once a week, which balances me out.

You don't enter proper sleep till about 3 hours in, but more than 6 is too much for any normal adult.

I am an mild insomniac I have troubles going to sleep so probably 2-3H a night.

Since Wednesday I've got a grand total of about 15 hours.
On a normal working week I'll get 7 hours on working days if I don't go out, about 4 if I do and on weekends I'll get about 5.
So as a general rule not enough to survive without large amounts of caffine.

i used to have 3 hours 0230-0530 now im getting around 6/7 although last night it was 10 hours plus an hour to force myself to get out of bed. the best iv felt ever was when i was having 3 hours sleep and starting/ending the day with a 8.5 mile bike

my english teacher is a machine. She constantly comes in moaning that she rarely gets more than 3 hours sleep because of her marking yet she never manages to get our stuff marked in time. I'm smelling s<s></s>hiiiite...
