Vista + downloading

I heard Vista doesnt allow 'any' non genuine stuff on a computer?

I am partial to the odd album/game through 'torrent'

New computer tomorrow, will it still be possible for me to do the 'naughty deed'?

I presume it'll be fine. They've not even managed to finish the OS bit, so I doubt the DRM is entirely functional.

Microsoft - Biggest f*ckups in computing history. If xp is anything to go by, they'll still be <s>fixing</s> breaking it when they release the next Os.

Nah, XP's pretty finished, really. It's been as stable as it needs to be and as complete as MS want it to be for some time now.

Its crap the way that you cant use Microsoft Word documents from XP to Vista, my mate had an essay to do, and he had done most of it at school, but then the day before handing it it he decided to take it home, but it wouldnt work!!!

Well, no, it wouldn't. That's the way MS work - make the old stuff as obsolete and useless as possible as quickly as possible so that all the idiots go out and buy the new version.

And they fall for it _every_ time.
