What size axle length for an ISIS crank with a single blackspire 42t ring on, does it make a difference if you have a chain device also ?

its on an azonic ds1 mkIII, bb shell is 68mm but wasn't sure on the axle length for use with fsa v drive xtreme cranks and a 42t ring, its 9sp cassette on the rear if that helps ? i bought it all inc a 118mm axle as i assumed i needed that size ( i was wrong ) also bought a cheapo chain device this one infact..http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mode ... delID=5913 but it didn't line up, i take it if i buy a 113mm axle bb it should be fine ?
Looking to refund that chain device if its poo and spend œ40 on a new one ?0 -
113mm should do. but i would bin that device and look at a boxguide.

Nick, hopefully all this information helps as im 10000% confused right now,
Frame : http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mode ... delID=2650
Cranks : http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mode ... delID=1022
Cheapo cranks, they will do for now til i have more funds.
Chainring : http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mode ... odelID=201
BB : http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mode ... delID=2962
Again a cheap bb but will do for now til i have more funds
All i want is for it to all work i currently have a 118mm bb as i quote from the crc website
" Question: what size bb does the frame take ?
CRC Replies: 68 shell, Axle length depends on your cranks. 113 usually for a triple, and 118 for a single with chain device. "
Which chain device should i go for ?
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... SIMPLEITEM
or
http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mode ... odelID=259
or
http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mode ... delID=1143
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... SIMPLEITEM
or

I wan't to make sure whatever device i buy it will work with my cranks/chainring, and what size BB i need. Do i need 118mm ( currently have ) 113 or 113mm e-type
Sorry for long post but im trying to get to the bottom of this so i can ride !0 -

much appreciated nick, will get CRC to swap my bb for a 113mm e-type and il order the truvativ box guide tonight.
Andy0 -
Box guide arrived today, my 68x113m e-type BB will be here tomorrow, is there any reason it shouldn't fit ?0
-
nick problems, i have the 113mm e-type and the box guide, the screws that hold the box guide together foul the inner ring holes on the crank arms when fully attached0
