Managed to get Muc off's bike spray PTFE, Degreaser thingamibob on my rotor and pads and am now concerned that even after a few squirts of Hopes sh!t Shifter it's still not stopping properly.... I've been told I'll need new pads but would like to ask for your advice !!!

Thanks in advance............

clean rotor and caliper with Meths (isopropanol alcohol) and then fit new pads.

Not really, people have tried to burn it off the pads but I don't think it worked properly.

you can burn them off. Use a hob or blowtorch and then after sand with very fine paper. Sometimes they can be as good as new, its worth a try

he was using the degreaser not the bike cleaner, so yes, it is suitable for brake pads

muc-off cleaner is ok on pads and the brake cleaner is just de-greaser. if you get the bike spray(or wd 40 or gt 85) on the disk, a de-greaser will clean it off-it will probably squeel a bit after you clean them but it will wear off. if thats not workin you'll have to get new pads.

never grow up..... just find a bigger playground!
