Ever had one of those rides where:
Front tyre puncture less than a mile from home?
You've got the half worn summer tyres on, and the ground is as muddy as the middle of winter?
You fall off twice from lack of grip, due to half worn summer tyres and the ground being as muddy as the middle of winter?
Confidence goes?
Your wet, cold & covered in black mud just like the middle of winter.
Gears start mucking about on you?
Your still 15 miles from home and you want out?
You get home and realise that you still really enjoyed yourself & after a nice hot shower and you can now feel your feet!
Bike still muddy as a badge of honour for the ride to work tomorrow!
