cranks and bottom brackets

hi am looking to change my bottom bracket and cranks just wandering if it has to be a pigmy bottom bracket to fit pigmy cranks or will any splined bottom bracket do?

i am me and only me that makes me a muppet

yes it has to be a 36splined 19mm axel so yes you need a pigmy axel and bb.
