Have avid brakes and when orginally purcahase the brakes the front appeard very good and reactive. I took the wheel out to transport, and ever since put it back in the brakes still work, but if riding along and pull the brake, the front just slowly stops. Doesnt react as well as used to.
What the cause?
Whats the solution?
Thanks

does the disc move when you pull the brakes?
reposition the wheel, re align the caliper.

You mean move side to side?
Well not sure whether this would help, but it happened when the wheel was taken out and the lever was pulled. But since this the bike has gone to my LBC and they have re setup the front brake...so cant understand why its still doing it..0 -
will need to settle back in again just use it. if it is still not right take it up with them.
pleased full topic headings. (edited) and if you have sent it to the LBS since the situation then tell us at the start not the second reply.

Take it back to your LBS. If you don't think they've done a good job get them to do it properly.

have you moved the pad contact adjuster? if they are spongey you might have air in the system.
