Ive just got a new frame and fitted the forks but when the headset is fitted, the stem does not cover the steerer tube by just under 1cm and the top of the steerer tube is just lower than the top clamping bolt on the stem, i ride fairly hard and i'm wondering if it would be ok to leave it as it is? cheers

have you any spacers you can remove? Seems your new headset has a higher stack height. 1cm is too much really.
