Hi,
had my new GT Avalanche 1.0 (size m) for around six weeks now, really pleased with the bike apart from the suntour fork. Been looking around and fancy trying the rockshox TORA 302 u turn, these have 85-130mm travel, are they a good fit for the bike frame?
The suntour forks have 100mm travel.
If the tora's wont do, any suggestions of what I can upgrade to for around œ150?
cheers

Tora would fit in with the bike nicely, and the travel adjust could be useful for you. MX Pro another option. These are the best forks at this price.
Whats up with the SR anyhow?

I find the SR forks too soft, I dont feel confident with them as they throw all my weight forward too easily, they dont come back up quickly enough and I feel like im going over the bars sometimes.
No complaints with the bike otherwise, nice and light, easy to handle, awesome brakes, well worth the money in my opinion.
Will have to sweet talk the missus and get myself a set of Tora's!!
Thanks for the advice supersonic.
