funny noise from discs

Right, my discs have started making a high pitched sort of, whining noise. It could be described as a squeak but its not quite a squeak. Its as if the rotors are just touching the pad at certain parts, only just and creating almost a whistle sort of noise. It only happens when going at or above a certaing speed. The discs are 05(I think) Juicy sevens with 203mm rotors. It only seeems to be the back brake. I have tried re-aligning the caliper and it worked for a little while, the bolts are done up tight enough. I've tried sanding the edges of the holes in the rotor so they are not quite as sharp (if you know what i mean), just so theres not a flat edge and got rid of any burs on the holes. I'm pretty sure its not the hub bearings as theres no play in the wheel in any direction. The rear wheel is QR, and it has only started happening since I took the rear wheel out, I have tried tightening the QR skewer up to about the same as it was before, could it be it needs tightening a bit more?
Is it just because its the old style rotors? i.e. not the new G2 ones.
Its a bit annoying riding along, and then you get this quite loud high pitch whine coming from your rear end.

the hub will not be in the same place as before. make sure the wheel is correctly seated. check that the springs and things are clear of the disc.
it will go.
