The BEST cake ever is....

The 1st one your Daughter bakes ALL on her own, and offers to you after dinner. I would have provided pix, but half got eaten, and half taken back to her mothers house. Was a nice light sponge cake with an apricot jam and butter-cream filling, lightly dusted with icing sugar.
