Disc Brake fitments on RS Revalations

Hi
I have just bought some Rock Shox Revalation Dual Air forks, I have fitted them Ok, But am having trouble fitting the brake capliper. The bike is a Trek 6500 Disc and had a Manitou Slate comp fork fitted, this had post mounts, the disc caliper is a Shimano deore, I purchased a disc adapter from CRC (one from post to IS), but here is my problem, the IS mounts on the fork do not have threads cut into them, and the mounting holes on the adapter do not either, How do they fix on?, and secondly the rotor is 203mm and the adapter is the right one for 203mm, but it seems way to small. Have I got something fundamentally wrong?
Thanks
Owen

you have the wrong adaptor. the threads should be in the adaptor.
you want a fork IS to Post caliper adaptor.
