We had a thunderstorm and torrential rain. The track to my house turned into a river and the water was pouring down the street in the village, so I did the only thing I could, and drove my car through monster puddles and floods at high speed.

It is essentially the Village Of The Damned, so chances are the storm crept up the valley, unleashed a deluge and sidled off to harass a barbeque in Dumfries without getting any water into the valleys either side of the Village.
