Video to VGA

Ok, I want to put the PS2 on to my monitor, as my TV is on the small side. The output from the PS2 is Phono (Yellow is the video, White is the left audio, and red is the right audio).
I have a Phono to scart adapter, which went into the TV, but if I got one of these for the Video:

Would it work the other way around as in the description it says that it is for changing VGA to Video.
For the Audio I would get one of these:

On my computer it has 3 jack sockets, Line out, line In and microphone. The speakers come out of the line out, If i was to put the adapter into the Line in, would the sound come out of the speakers?
If I think of anything else I'll add it in, and if you think I've missed something off tell me.

This is what you want for the monitor, Or something similar, It will also switch between the computer and Xbox.
As you said plug the Audio unto the Line-in and the sound will come out of the speakers yes.
