Jammed maxle 360

Howdy,

I'm having issues trying to get the front wheel off my bike. I have Rockshox Pike 409 forks. When realeasing the maxle and unsrewing the maxle, firstly it is very stiff and it will spin round until it clicks. After that it seems to spin and click and will not come out at all!

Any ideas would be appreciated! the last resort would be to hacksaw through the side of the maxle and then pick out the pieces but i don't fancy that.

do the 409's have the maxel 360? i think my mates 07 409's don't yet my 426's do the the maxel 360.

anyway, could it be cross threaded?

i had this on my 06 pikes and i just got a rubber mallet and once the maxle was undone (ie clicking) i gently tapped it until it came loose and i pulled it out. Tap it the direction you want it to come out (ie not the Qr side)
