avid juicy 5 need realigning

i'm finding after a fairly hard-ish ride my brake calipers need realigning due to the rotor rubbing on the pads all the time.
after I got back the other day there was a bit of mud in it which was partly to blame but still was better once I'd re-set it up.
It's a new bike and had those brakes on to start with so shouldn't need the mounts facing. Probably haven't bed in fully yet but still wouldn't have though they should come out of alignment after a ride.
anyone else had this, know any solution?
I'm not as keen on the type of brakes which have a mounting bracket (which allows you to position the caliper) sitting between the frame/forks and the caliper itself, I much prefer the hope ones where the caliper bolts straight onto the IS mounts with washers - although I gather hope have dropped this now in favour of a CPS type bracket for 2007 - can anyone confirm or deny this please or know whether it's any good?

with avids facing is not needed.
just just use them untill they have bedded in. or if you think there is a problem take it back to the shop and get it sorted. (or realign the caliper yourself) How to is in the manual. which you can download from the sram webby.
Yes hope have gone to post mount.

The '07 hopes have the same mounting system as most systems do these days. it allows for sideways movement of the caliper without having to shim the caliper. this makes it easier to setup and maintain. and looks a lot neater too! i'm using '07 hope m4's and have absolutely no complaints.
Anyway. Are you sure theres not mud or dirt getting in the caliper and rubbing the brake? i find it hard to believe that it could keep moving that easily, unless there was something that you were perhaps doing wrong?
EDIT - As i remember it, my avids were always rubbing.

Something round here tastes bad. Could be plain old bad taste.

No i'm not sure, in fact i'm sure there WAS mud in there on the other day, but what was weird is they were still rubbing once i had cleaned it out.

That how you realign the wheels? So the bolts you refer to the one which holds with the wheel into the actual forks? or you mean the small bolts which hold the rotor?0

You're joking, right? It's the bolts that hold the caliper
WD-40? GT-85?? I'd rather use the old AK-47!0 -
the post mount adaptor bolts on to the forks/frame, and then the caliper bolts onto the post mount adaptor with the CPS bolts and it's these that you loosen in order to realign the caliper, but on my avids the caliper positioning system doesn't seem to be that good - it never gets aligned as well that way as doing it by hand, which is a bit of a faff. The CPS on my hayes hfx9 that I had on my old bike were a lot better but I don't like hayes as much as they're not as progressive.
