What bike rack to go for???

Hi, I've got a Marin Quake 7.2 and a 2006 Norco Team DH bike and am having problems getting a bike rack for my car to fit the two bikes it would seem.
I've got a 2006 Fraud (Ford) Fiesta Zetec-S and want to get a tow bar mounted bike rack, but it seems that, at least for the Norco, I cannot get one to securely fit to the frame of the bikes when it's mounted.
Has anyone else got a tow bar/bike rack with a similar shaped bike frame and has managed to get one on their car?
Any help would be appreciated.

a friend has 2 of the same frame (well him and his missus) and they have http://www.thule.com/Thule/ProductPage____45838.aspx but feel it is a tad small and flexy.
