    thats the point really

    if i get them built at the shop they will be first rate, like my current pair, he builds excellent wheels

    but if the hope wheels are built by Mr Munson aka wheel pro then they could be classedas the best wheels in the UK. but if they are not then go with what you know.

    Hope Hoops +++

    Hope use their Pro II black hubs in conjunction with the DT-Swiss XR4.2D for their pre-built wheelset using DT Competition black spokes. Hope Hoops are actually machine built and hand finished whereas the above are 100% built by me in any colour you want. Consider the above as Hoops++ (that's one + for me building and another + for Super Comp spokes). If you want and extra + then I'll build them with 28 spokes - just as strong but shaving some weight off. Alternatively if you really want Hope Hoops then order them from me, find the cheapest (in-stock) price you can and I'll match that and I'll get them factory fresh from Hope (I'm keen to see what their build is like).

    prices are nice (only œ7 for the build) think i might order direct from wheel pro [:)]

    thanks Nick

  • DT swiss rims arnt the best, my mate destroyed one in a day at, ok it was at cwm carn i think and he is a hard rider and they where professionally built, but when i say destroyed i mean, cracked, dented, bent, flat spotted rim. I'd stick with the mavics Dave.
