Why my shared folder dialog box has changed from This to This without any warning? I now can't share files between pc's and i can't get the f'in thing to go back! [V]

please help. its driving me up the wall [:(]

As much as i am tempted to. i'm not about to kick in the front of a œ100 case again. yes, i've been stressed at it before. [;)]

Worst thing about TFT monitors, I had to give up punching them when massive (unsaved) documents dissapeared.

Have a look in 'Tools' - 'Folder options' 'View' tab. Scroll to the bottom... is there a tick in 'Use simple file sharing'?

If not, tick it and apply.

No idea why it changed for no reason though. It's yet another happy 'quirk' in windows.
