...At least not from winstanleys.

I heard they were bad but my god I have never known a company to be this crap.

Can't get through on the phone, they sent me the same automated email 3 times...etc

I doubt I can cancel it through them so it'll have to come off my card through the bank which is a pain in the arse. All I can say is, if you're thinking of using winstanleys, for gods sake don't.

So, any suggestions for a œ800 hardcore hardtail elsewhere?

Could have build yourself a nice one if you got the "Priceshaggers" LX groupset for œ212, chuck in a tomac frame from CRC œ300, Nice set of forks from ebay for œ250 and you'll laughing. I'd even build it for you (then mabey not ship it [^])

How hardcore?!

The Zen 3 from 06 for about that price with a Nixon forks and some decent kit.

Thinking of saving another œ200 and getting the Orange Crush. or maybe waiting for it to go down to œ800 in the winter.
