my maxxis high roller ust front tyre keeps deflating after a few hours of pumping them up. Ive recently put new tyres on to resolve the problem but failed..... could there be a problem with the rim, valve, nipples etc and will puting slime in the tyre block the hole?

Heres my new NS looking sweet with my pikes on

Some slime should stop it, but if it doesnt you could blow it up, find where the air is coming from and try and patch that bit up somehow

I wouldn't use slime. It might work, but it's stupid heavy.

Did you use any latex sealant?

I never had any issues with Maxxis UST's deflating unless going around corners too fast.
    ANYWAY.
When you inflate them, always OVERinflate, this ensures that the tyre is correctly seated on the rim (try pumping up to about 60psi). Also check for any big dents or anything on the rim itself that may be interfering with the seal - though a small dent is usually ok, I've got about 2 on my 819 wheelset and they are ok.

Check the valve is done up tightly, and if it's an old valve, perhaps change the o-rings? Ideally should be replaced every year or so.

If you're still having issues - try putting some Bontrager Super Juice in there, but don't bother with slime. I've not found any need to put any sealant in tbh, it just helps seal the hole if you do get a puncture at all.

    What rims?

Have you thought about using a bit of stan's no tubes sealant?

May seem an obvious point, but have you checked the tyres for small holes made by thorns/glass/etc?

Sometimes it overheats. You have to make sure it's in a ventilated place all the time.
