hi, i have recently joined mbuk and when i post a topic about somthing and i spell somthing wrong it gets locked so if you read this and you noitice a mistake please inform me. Back to the point, i bought a 6 year old saracen of my friend for œ40 with the image im my head. when im done this will be a nice bike. anyway hers what it is now: forks dj comps 2006, front wheel dmr moto r tire halo sas rim and gold 24/7 supercross one hub, frame still saracen (sighs), 24/7 seat, more next post

gusset pigmy crankset, gusset 36t chainring with bash guard, scott nitrus back wheel with dimondback hub, standard v brakes. i think once iv changed wheels frame a brake it wil be nicer

jumping the worst my bike wil be put through is 10 ft high jumps

It doesn't really matter how high the jumps are, its how well you land them!
This should be in general, and why did you need two posts to give the spec of your bike?

How often will you jump 10 ft high jumps? Have you ever jumped that high?

WD-40? GT-85?? I'd rather use the old AK-47!

Shocking bikes could land big jumps, but then good bikes could crash and burn on smaller ones.

It all depends on how smooth the rider is

dj comps DIRT JAMS[xx(] I know I can't say much, but I know they're shizzle. Ordered some Z1 sports today though[:p] Back to topic: with the cost of all these upgrades, you might aswell save your money + buy a complete (dirt jumping bike) like a 24seven slacker, dmr, flow, etc

Actually there is nothing wrong with saracen jump frames, they are strong.

The wheels look good, however the forks may start squirting oil or implant handlebars into your face with rubbish rebound damping if you land hard.
