on a blood giving mega session involving blood samples every hour, till Wednesday morning! Yes, that includes going through the nights!

Aw man, guess they had to make us earn this money somehow 'ey!

Oh, and I turned down a cannula because I didn't like it last time, which means lots and lots of needle holes!

Nah I hated the cannula last time and that was when I was awake!! The time after that the thought of rolling around in bed with that hanging out my arm wasn't too appeling!! it turned out to be ok though tbh, because the needle holes never closed up they jabbed em so frequently!

Its a tube that feeds you oxygen or fluid at a constant rate IIRC.

No it's not!

It's basically a blood tap. They run a tiny little capilary tube up you vein, put a bung in the end above the skin, and then when they wish to retrieve some, take the bung out, and whack a tube on the end. The bit that goes in the vein is about 3-4cm long though!

i had some of them when i was in hosptial, they always muck it up, the one that was in my hand hurt for months afterwards every now and then, i think they bruised the tissues.... oh, enjoy.

Great. So as if giving blood every two hours through the night and this morning hasn't left me with enough holes in my arms.... the last numpty missed the bloody vein!

I was thinking, I have the option of casual sex open to me the day after I get out, (not normally my sort of thing tbh, I'm not a fan. Would much rather the loved up sh<s></s>it) but seeing as they've taken loads of blood recently, dya reckon it will affect my chances of surviving a romp?

Like, if all the blood rushes to my todger, is there going to be enough left for my lungs/brain? There's a lot of todger to fill after all! Hahahaha!

Shouldn't be a problem, I think its something like 250ml is replaced by your body every hour. Its very fast whatever it is though!
