What sort of riding to you intend using this bike for?
Trails, Jumps, Skate parks, Down Hill etc?

cheers mate,
erm..........general woods, road, nothing to hectic.
used to have a rockhopper and that was perfect, so i like the look of the dawes, and not bad stuff on it either.0 -
Not that Flurry is biasd or anything...[:p]
But yeah, the Hardrock is a pretty solid bike, the spec isn't anything special really, but is a good platform to upgrade from and the spec should last you a while anyway. The frame is remarkably heavy though.

Bikes to consider:
Specialized Hardrock
GT Avalanche
Giant XTC (although this may be slightly over your budget)

Hardrock is probably your best bet mate. you can get the sport hydraulic for œ399 online at the mo or a cable disk version for œ369
