Chainguide that won't alter chainline?

Hi, I've got an NS biaaaaaaatch! with Truvativ Howitzer BB and want to fit a chainguide (MRP/E13 type). I've got ISCG mounts but have had problems with chainline (I had to put the spacer on the non-drive side of the BB rather than the drive side) so my question is are there any chainguides which don't need to be fitted between the bb cup and the frame?
Or will the chainline not matter as much if I've got a good chainguide on?
Thanks!

Something like a DMR chaincage if they stil make them, Or theres a Roox equivalent that might be better, They clamp around the seat tube instead of behind the bb but its only a guide for the top.
havent fallen off,
im just having a rest

any ISCG mount device will not effect the chain line.
you do realise the Howitzers do have a odd chain lines and there are 2n versions. one giving a 50mm chain line and the other giving a 52mm chain line!

Thanks guys
Jon - I'm looking more for the twin roller/twin plate type than the box type
Nick - I've got the 50mm one and with the spacer on the 'wrong' side (according to the manual) it gives me the perfect line.
Would I need to remove the bb cup to fit an ISCG device?0 -
no you should not. but depending on the device you may have to enlagen the hole in the center that allows the device to pass over the bb as they can be a bit tight on the external bearing versions.
