Sending bike by parcelforce

Has anyone ever sent a bike via parcelforce? Need to know how to pack it and wrap it but there customer sevice lines are closed [V]. Do i need to get a specific bike box to pack it in?

  • They'll take it anyway. Just bare in mind, they aren't known as 'Parcel Farce' for nothing. They'll think nothing of chucking your parcel around, so make sure you use plenty of bubble wrap, something to stop your forks and stays from bending in, and a heavy duty carboard wrap to keep it all together.

    Ok now i'm worried[:0] Just rang Rutland cycling, off to raid their skip for boxes, might bring a few extra back with me now!!!!!!!!!!

    Yer Gibb is right. My Dad worked there self-employed and I went with him once and watching other workers loads there van is stupid! They lob it from back to front and smash everything in the parcel.

    Just don't!
