Hey, just wondering what headphones you guys use with your mp3 players? Got one yesterday to go on holiday with, but the headphones were utter $hite!
After looking on the 'net, i decided to plump for <b></b>'Skullcandy Full Metal Jacket with 11mm drivers'<b></b>...does anyone have these and what do you think of them...hopefully they are good?!
Cheers [}:)]

i have iPod once, the quality is good but they keep falling out of my ears
Yeah, don't ever ride and listen to music, it leads to crashes as I discovered

I had a pair of phillips headphones like that. Quality was good, but phillips headphones are really unreliable. I've got through 4 sets so far. Don't go with sonys either, as they've changed the sheathing to something that comes off after a few weeks.
Sounds like the sennheisers will be the best bet. Never tried em mind.

Philips Ear Hook ones. œ8 off ebay. Bit uncomfortable, but I'd put up with them for the price.
New, I'm not one for second hand earwax.

seinheisser twist to fits get my vote. Superb sound, don't block out the noise of traffic etc if your riding. The also never come out. NEVER!

I too have the Philips over-ear headphones, got mine for œ9 from argos about a year ago and they're still working fine, even though i'm pretty hard on headphones
My friend has some all-singing, all-dancing Seinheisser's, waterproof, ajustable over the ear clip, lime green cable etc
the sound quality of those is pretty damn good

As for joining the forum, I joined for my love of biking, not to see a snotty response from someone who joined at xmas06... wow !!0 -

I'm sorry, did I have any issue with when you joined rather then what you said? Does the time I spend on here reflect my knowledge of earphones? Did you start giving snotty comments before me? Actually rockhopper asked what head phones people used, not a review on each(although he did want one on <b>A</b> specific make/modle if you want to get pedantic).

I got some CX300 new for a fiver from this guy.. They are ok, but a bit boomy tho. Much prefer my Sony HPM-70s.0
-
I got some œ30 sony ones from argos. Anything that is the in-ear style will give you some kick ass bass. Oh, I also reccomend buying from argos and gettng their œ5 insurance, it lasts a year, and if your anything like me, you break headphones every few months. And, its a good way of getting replacment earphones for friends too... It must have saved me about œ60.

I have a pair of Sennheiser CX300 and to tell the truth, they're sh<u></u>it. No matter what track I played, there's just no bass at all. I tried them in my old MD player and mp3 player and nothing.

First off I wasn't having a go at flurry, he said portaloo so I replied with a big smile and included the words "turd" "Pisspotical" and "flushed" and "ass" call it toilet humour.
As for me being a "old mans stamp collectioning walking advert" as you put it.... erm no thats the crazy guy in town with the Jesus boards on his back and front but hey for a guy who can't spell it was a grand use of words from a plethora available in the erm dog lovertionary !!
Rockopper, hope ya happy with ya headphones, flurry hope I didnt offend you and everyone else who's been looking and probably giggling at this series of posts I hope ya not bored with these childish rants me n the Jinj are having !!! lmao !!!0 -
LOL @ Subrock!...
...anyway, my Skullcandy 11mm Full Metal Jackets arrived in the post this morning. Aww yeah, these baby's kick ass!...and they aren't even broken in yet. great full range of sound and nice bass without being overpowering. Here's hoping the sound will get even better as time goes on, but all in all i'm impressed. Style wise, they look the dogz nutz and came well packaged including 3 sizes of buds, a carry case & 2 stickers. Bought from play.com for œ35 (rrp œ50), will update if anything goes drastically wrong but otherwise...
