Their manuals don't show you anything other than how to slide it onto your bar and tighten it. Under maintenance it says 'Wash with soap and water only.'

Mine came apart while changing gear cable. All I did was follow the instructions and all the springs made things fly everywhere.

From what I've heard it's mighty fiddly. Can't offer any help personally, but I'll offer you good luck.
I don't know if you change cables in the same way as you do with X9, but if you do, how the piss did you make the shifter explode?

I've tried taking apart the other one, it's different.
You have to take the top bit off, then lift up a circular spring and pull the nipple out.
