Giant xtc sx MPH-3 brakes sticking

I was driving back from grizdale last weekend with my bike in the boot. The rear brake lever must have been pushed up against the seat or something and sprained it. When I pull the lever now, the brake works but sticks and will not release until I move the lever forward again.
Any ideas how to fix this? Cheers

    hi the reserviors on the handelbars relese them a bit and see what happens because if the fluid is compressed by holding the brake lever they can seieze up like that sometimes. that might be the reason try it.
