I'm I missing something or is there an easy way to put them on, especially as I have had to slide the break leavers on to the bars first, so I am limited in the amount of leaverage I can use?
Thanks

Hairspray? Do I spray the bars with it, spray inside the grips, will this make them slide on easier? Sorry for sounding stupid.
Thanks0 -

Far be if from me to doubt you Nick, given your devotion to this site, but I always thought hair spray was sticky and that would perpetuate my situation with struggling to get them on, but I will bow down to your genious and spray.0

Didn't have any hairspray, but a bit of Fairy non bio mixed with a little water, works miracles.0

christ!!! how dumb? easy on easy off, fairy liquid isnt going to dry sticky is it mate, however hairspray just might, so will laquer, or any spray paint,

Just to clear things up, hair spray is slippy when wet, then, as the solvent evaporates it becomes sticky, and will hold the grips on.
I'd still just use loc-on grips though.

only if your ham fisted, or you could just spray the inside of your grips, works on the same principle as laquer
