Firstly, Tektro Auriga comp that come on the GT avalanche 1.0 (2007)
Why? What was wrong with the hayes?
Second, does any one know weather or not it is posable to buy spares for theses brakes as the mins. leaking from one leaver and cant see why.
Thirdly as I don't really want an answer to the second question, Shimano XT, full sets from around œ100 - œ125. There are different models? Are there any particular XT's that are better than others? Is there any better for your money brake (pairs) at the same price?
Cheers.

Confused..
I'm assuming you meant that on the 2006 avalanche they had Hayes brakes, and now it has Tektros...
I'm thinking its not possible to buy parts for the brakes because they're just the standard hydro brakes on stock bikes. Not sure though.
And I've heard nothing but praise about the Shimano Saints, which you could get for œ110 a pair.
