Im looking for some new tyres for general use, mostly on loose sandy dirt, and concrete (roads, skateparks) with a bit of wet mud use. i currently run DMR Moto Diggers, and they seem fine for what i do, but they are now worn, and i need some new ones, i was thinking about just replaacing them, then wondered if there were any better tyres about??
I mainll looked at the DMR Moto RT's, DMR Moto Digger's, Halo twin rail's, and Maxxis holy roller's, all for about œ35 ish and on 24" s
thanks, dan
P.S ANY COMMENTS FROM PEOPLE WHO HAVE USED ALL OF THEM WOULD BE GREAT.
If practise makes perfect... And nobodys perfect... Then why practise...? Because Its so amizingly fun!?!?! YES!!!

if you run in the wet, the moto rt, twin rails and holy rollers will suffer. but for dry running, rt's or twin rails seem to be pretty highly rated.
kenda k-rad may be worth looking at as well [:)]

had a look at the kenda k-rad's, look like a duplicate of the Moto RT's tbh.
would therefore the moto diggers be best then, if the other would suffer in wet conditions?

I run Diggers on mine. Theyre an awesome multi-use tyre, from street to dirt to light dry DH to commuting.
Get 'em again!

I wouldn't recomend holy rollers for anything other than tarmac/hardpack. Mine are very good for this, but the slightest hint of slippy wet surfaces and they are pretty crap!

I have Holy Rollers.
They're really very nice tyres, and look the biz.
I've had no trouble with them, whatsoever, even on loose packed gravel.
They are great for jumping, and work like you'd want them to for street and park, but I've never had to use them for anything wet, and I can see them being absolute shi<s></s>te in the wet.
The MOTO diggers are quite 'knobbly' yet still retain that rounded shape like other dirt/street tyres have. If I were to get more tyres, I'd get them.

Holly Rollers are brilliant tyres, Have used them in the wet on a DH track when I couldnt be bothered changing tyres and they were better than expected, Technique helped a lot but they were still pretty good.
havent fallen off,
im just having a rest

I ordered a K-Rad the other day, some people like them, others don't, but I'm hoping I like it.
But if you like the Motos, stick with them - or maybe go RT at back, Digger at front?
