I want to go sunbathe and lounge around for a week somewhere hot. I was thinking Spain, but that place is so Passe. Can you help suggest something?

Anywhere in Greece is fairly cheap, especially with late deals. Also look into Turkey or Tunisia.

well, as I said, Morocco is lovely. But if you want super cheap but lots of culture go to Thailand/India/China/Vietnam.

Israel. œ125 return flight to Tel Aviv, summer temperatures are damn high, plus most shops/bars/coffee shops are open until about 2am.

That and you have one of the best armies in the world keeping the ever violent Palestinians out.

How far afield are you thinking? If you're looking at september, I'd recomend Chile, somewhere like Puerto Varas/Montt, it's hot, chilled out and the scenery is unbelieveable

Only if you must be on the Med coast. Places like San Sebastien and Madrid are cool and have amazing nightlife.

Cannes? It really is beautiful, you could fly out to Niece for about œ40 return (Inc taxes) with easy jet, and get a cheap hotel for about œ40 a night.

croatia, head to split. amazing place. or go to santorini (greek island) in late sept, i managed to find a 3 star hotel with pool, free pool tables, bar by pool and its about 5 mins from the beach/bars for 10 euro a night.

n that was just turning up on the ferry and going with the most attractive girl who offered us a lift.

Eygpt and Israel can be amazingly cheap (especailly when there's conflict in the Middle East i.e. almost always). Some great resorts & sights - worth consideration.

Anywhere in former Yugoslavia (Croatia & Slovenia especially) still represents good value.
