i just bought some marzocchi mx pro eta forks and the left leg rattles, they aren't on the bike yet, only just out the box, but if i shake them there's a rather load rattle, is this normal?
i asked marzocchi but oddly the guy named Dan who replied didnt seem to know, his response was "the left leg has the coil spring inside, this is more likely the noise?" i don't know Dan that's why i'm asking.
it could be the spring as its definately metal on metal, but even if it is, is the noise normal? bearing in mind the fork is under zero load
