Hi,

Just saying thanks for all the help received from the forum members to spec and build my heckler. It all went together fine and well impressed with the result!

Its not muddy enough though.

The. Most. Gorgeous. Bike on the forum.

Apart from the pedals, sort it out mate! You cannot have Noir cranks with paint flaking off the pedals.

I was a bit worried having bought this bike without a test ride on the frame and going purely on magazine reviews but after a long ride at Haldon Hill today on a trail I've ridden over 30 times I have to say it rides friggin' awesome!

I always find it a bit sketch going on different bikes as they're not what your used to but after a slow steady start I started cranking the pedals harder and the bike just delivered.

Compared to my old Stumpy FSR Comp 07 (fantastic bike btw), the forks are absolutely solid and track beautifully, very little flex in the bb and the frame is so well balanced. Climbing was a breeze with no noticeable pedal bob and the bike was very plush and solid on the jumps - no dodgy moments just full of confidence.

Anyone thats considering getting the new heckler, I can't recommend it enough.

My old (new) stumpy fsr comp 07 will be on eBay this week.
