im not much of a jumper, but surely the ones specific for DJ are the best option, ive heard theyre designed to take bigger hits that DJ offers, and 4x are just for little jumps in 4x tracks and for pumping. but i dont know a great deal about them apart from that

Isn't it obvious? DJ1. Although the 4X's are quite similar to the DJ series they are not as heavily built, and designed for 4X believe it or not.

Sometimes it overheats. You have to make sure it's in a ventilated place all the time.

and there is a big weight difference between them and is it worth it for the extra weight having the DJ 1's over the 4x if they can do the same thing0
-
no they cant do the same thing. one is for 4X and the other is a Dirt Jump fork.

i posted a practiacally identical topic about 2 weeks, except i asked about the 4x forks, dirt jumper 1's and the rockshox argyles, the overall verdict on that was go for the rockshox, they are such a better forks, altough neither of the ones you have mentioned are bad at all...

If practise makes perfect... And nobodys perfect... Then why practise...? Because Its so amizingly fun!?!?! YES!!!<hr>
Dont you hate it when your eating pizza with one hand, and trying to type with the other, the BAM! you accidently put4 \'W\'s into the address bar !!!!0 -
I'm sure if you look in the latest MBUK mag, in the section which shows you how to build jumps, on page 200, the green Kona, (which I think is choppers), aren't the forks on that 4X forks. You can't actually see the name, but its a 2 letter name. I'm 95% sure they are 4X forks.
If you are a heavy rider I would advise the DJ series, I suppose (chopper?) may use them as they are lighter.

It's possible to jump on any fork in existance. Just that the DJ1 is more suited than the 4X.
Just because he has a 4X fork in one picture doesn't mean he uses that bike exclusively for jumping.
