Dainese armour users

I'm buying this.

I take a small T-shirt size and everything else i seem to buy that fits is a small. Wiggle say i should get a medium.

So, medium or small?

I've got that armour in XL on the advice of Wiggle. Wish I'd gone for a Large as the arms a wee bit too long....

Local lakies don't stock decent amounts of dainese. ie, they've got one lot of medium armour, probably of the old type. Other local shops don't stock armour.

Hmph. If lakies had any stock i'd go and buy it from them, but i know they'll have to order it in.

I've got the medium of it and usually wear small/medium t-shirts...the large is a bit of a jump up from the medium size wise. Small for me the arms were to short length wise.

get one of each, send back the one which is the wrong size.

i would however say small, as there are many placews that say i should take a medium, but the small is baggy on me.

My mates got that armour, Hes taller than me but same sort of build and he has the small. Your both a similar size I reckon. Or like Anto said get the small and medium and send the wrong size back.

Looks better then the one you wore last year. The 661 pressure suits didn't convince me, the chest protection looked about as strong as an AIDs baby.
This year I'll mostly be sporting the Azonic pressure suit.

The 661 pressure suit I tried wasn't the most comfortable either...

I got some Dainese 'half armour' that just does shoulders & arms & is like wierd t-shirt you wear under a normal top.

Saves sweating like a Paedo in Mothercare for 2 weeks with a full suit on.

you dont think the back plate is the most useful bit?

just interested because im the complete opposite, backplate only.

I can see your point entirely - logic says along with your head, your back should be the one thing you protect...

I really don't feel comfortable wearing top half armour at all though, so I guess it comes down to what someone deems an acceptable risk. If I don't feel comfortable riding, then to me i'm not enjoying it, so wouldn't do it anyway.

However saying that, something is better than nothing I guess [:)]

Collected it from my neigbour an hour ago (citilink delivered while i was at work), so no chance to ride in it.

It looks like it's gonna be a lot cooler than anything else i've used before though, If there doesn't need to be material somewhere, it's left open. ie, armpits, inside of elbow.
