Most things have a scene, it's like, whats cool in that area at the time.

For example, scene BMX kids have tight jeans and huge bars, running brakeless.
The scene in MTB at the moment seems to be 24"
Scene kids at gigs, usually have uber tight jeans, bright coloured nike hi-tops and clothing from H and M and/or Topman/Topshop.

one bike thats no longer made with 24", that had just one 24" wheel.

Yes that pretty much covers mountain bikes using 24" wheels, congrats.

I run 24", its definately not just to be "scene"

i don't see the problem in people running what they want. If i want to run singlespeed, and 24" wheels, i'm not going to do it for the hell of it, i'll do it because I want to. I prefer it, I get on with it.
