Er, depends.

It seems that a lot of what's now classed as 'emo' is not at all what I thought it was. I think I'm aging prematurely.

What's 'now' classed as Emo? I didn't realise it had been around all that long.
I don't quite get exactly what it is, but my theory goes as follows.

A goth is kind of like an extreme emo, but they will kick the corr blimey out of anyone who gives them grief. Basically, they've got a spark of life, a sort of rebellion thing.

Emos, on the other hand, are similar to goths, except they'll just moan about things, but not do anything about it. But generally it's moaning about things like
"my parents won't buy me a yacht"

For example, the guy from 'The Crow' = Goth
Edward scissorhands = Emo.

Is that right?

There's just the usual confusion over whether the label's about an attitude or people dressing to look like they have that attitude.

I know a few people who look 'emo' but don't do the whiney thing. And a few people who do the whiney thing but don't look emo. Are they both emo, or neither, or just one?

But every time I think about it I realise that I don't really care. The only time it seems to matter is on here...

The best emo girls a dead emo girl. Some look pretty and all, but ohhh how they fugging moan and constantly spout cr@p... In my experiance anyway. Couldn't fook one without a gag.

I hate how the boys and girls tend to look the same from the back, especially as curvy emo girls are rare (unless they're well fat) and emo boys are uber skinny. I also hate the stupid hair do they all have the whole fringe over one eye deal gets on my tits. Of course this is all my opinion and Im sure if any of you have that kind of hairdo you have a good excuse, like a deformed eye.

Depends wether you want the music definition of "Emo" or the personality/social lable. But yeah, "emo" the music style (Emotional HardcorePunk) has been around for quite a while. I belive bad religion are techicly emo.

Brandon lee deserves more respect then "the guy from the crow" Something more like "Sone of Bruce" would be acceptable.
