lookin for a sub 300 bike, the mongoose tyax has a good review,
was thinking rigid at this price, perhaps hardrock xc?
any thoughts suggestions

what sort of riding do you do, i'm guessing that it's XC.

personally i'd go for an 06 hardrock, as they'll be cheaper than this years model but almost identical

I have a Tyax Elite and I think it is great. Although everyone on here will suggest a hardrock. They are both excellent starter bikes.
