which is good for cycling.

The hot weather and tight fitting cotton boxers is not a good mix.

Recomendations welcome

Interesting topic, never thought I could relate to this one - so there other guys riding out there that are well endowed and can't manage boxers because you end up with your nob down one of the leg wholes and a sweaty, sometimes painful sensation when your knackers rub up and down the inside of your leg(s).

Sounds ooooooh! but its got to be underpants mate -the sort you can buy at George in Asda! The essential part of any boxer short design is the tray that holds your bajollocks and hampton together - most of mine don't so its underpants when I ride - problem solved.

Nothing under lycra or a man thong FTUW

Always remember to pick your Uni according to the local trails or you'll be stuck with nowhere to ride for three years!

used briefs as well, I think most have got crash damage. They're a bit better as there's less material to get sweaty but they still do. I don't like unsupportive underwear like baggy boxers though.

I think most of the problem is I'm a rather warm chap, when out riding for ridings sake it's not such a problem it's when I used the bike to get from A to B I tend to wear paramo shirts, lightwight poly cotton trousers but cotton is not my friend at times like this

matalan is your best bet for cheap decent underweare. I dont seem to have much trouble with their woven, NOT JERSEY bovers which are loose and not restricting.

while the kids were looking at carrier bags full of eastern european sweets for œ1,i noticed they had a good few cycling bits in..such as hydration packs at around œ10 and garmin gps for œ70.
