i just broke my collar bone!

messed up a jump i did like 10 times the day before...i cant write or do anything with with my left arm for weeks and its got to stay in a sling for 6. i might get a scribe or have an extended time for for my gcse modulars coming up. i cant play guitar or ride a bike or anything!

good news though i dont have to go to school for a while and when i go back i can just go in for the important lessons e.g none of them [:D] and i can just about play playstation.

oh and my bikes fine

Breaking your collar bone sucks. Mine was aching after 16 lengths of a swimming pool last night and I broke it about 4 years ago sigh. On a different note, I wish to have s3x with your bike if thats ok? What size is the seatpost hole?

Nice bike. Gutted about the break, my dad broke his coller bone and he has a massive Ti plate and some big bolt's holding it all in place.

You have to keep it in a sling for 6 weeks?
That must be quite a break. IIRC I was using mine for most things (just not heavy stuff) after less then 3.

Personally I have never experianced a broken bone *touch wood* but sounds painfull unlucky just before summer but corr blimey happens.

I was back riding 2 months after breaking mine, it was a clean break though. I was reccomended 4 months off, but after 2 i felt i was fine, and still am (tough wood)

Ouch! the most iv done is grenstick fractured my wrist and that bloody hurt. cant imagine the pain [;)] nice bike too

im not so sure about the whole 6 weeks in a sling thing when i was listening to the nice hospital nurse lady i didnt take it all in cos i was slighty dazed from the imense amount of painkillers/crash/nurses so it may be less i broke mine on sunday and had to take it off to have a shower this morning (i had showered before)it didnt hurt that much. anyway im going back into hospital tommorow for a check up
