Why do you need more than 100mm anyway? You did by dirt jumpers for dirt jumping, didn't you?

yer if you bought them for exactly what they say on the <s>tin</s> leg, then you dont need to make them any more travel becuase 100 is fine for DJ'ing

100 is a lot for DJing. DJ forks, IMO should be about 3" travel.

80mm is ideal, but may not suit some frames, due to being too short.
Rigids are better still, but some people aren't smooth enough to warrent them.

why are rigids better? isnt it just a personal choice between sus and rigid?

Ridgids are better as you dont lose any energy, and you can get higher, but the margin for error is greater.

Other people use 100mm forks and they think that it is fine.
IIRC it was made for 100mm forks.
