Single speed - Bmx chain

Okay, i'm seriously considering going single speed again, but my last experience ended in repeated snapped chains, cant explain how. it just did.

Soooo, i'm looking for something that will take bmx gearing, but it has to be wide enough not to f*ck up the freehub on my hope pro II (can't afford a hub change just yet)

Ok, should have said, i'm after a single speed kit thingymabob, and chainring.
Any suggestions?

If you mean this It would just rip the freehub to bits. i was thinking something more along the lines of the gusset double six, just checking to see if that'll take a bmx chain [:)]

A mate of mine has the Gusset, tis rather good. I think it can take a bmx chain, not 100% on that though.

You can still put a 1/8 chain on a 3/32 sprocket...

Right, i've just fitted a gusset doublesix single speed sprocket and onza koolchain 1/2" x 3/32 (i had one laying about from a while back)


Any suggestions for a good Chainwheel thats going to fit? 28t preferably. for 3 piece cranks.
