Hi i am new to the site and i am looking at getting this bike
can i have your thoughts on it as i dont know much about bikes
at the moment.

    my mate has it and for the pice. it seems to be working ok . but with all bikes at this price the forks are a bit iffy but you should manage

    Trust it from somebody that has one. Pay the extra 70 quid unless you get one like me for 260 then it's cheaper to get the basic bike and upgrade it to what you like. Shocks are o,k. deraillers o,k. the only thing really are the brakes and their better than the v style anyway. It rides smooth, better than my old speciallised anyway. The answer is to try before you buy and watch out on the frame sizes, their a bit odd. i would always buy a bike from a good shop as you can sometimes test ride and you can get a better deal than online at times. In total a good cross country bike but would not suggest no heavy stuff i,e 6ft drops, yeah i broke the back wheel doing this one. better than some of the cheaper saracen and speciallised and you get a lot for your money.[;)]
