Hi
i've fianlly got the lolly ready to buy a new bike, just wondering - when do companies start lowering prices in time for new seasons stock?
i'm after a Marin (price aroun œ750) and a few weeks wait wont hurt if it gets and extra few quid off. anyone any experience to share?
saying that - any bartering advice for lbs's would be handy.
ta.

prices generally get dropped around August when the '08 range come out, and that is probably your best time to buy, as they will still have lots of '07 stock...

Don't wait for a Marin, they're rapidly running out of stock. The range this year is awesome and they've been selling fast as a result!

If you look around you get great deals on last years and previous years bikes pretty much all year round.
Someone will always be trying to shift old stock and bikes don't become awful overnight so you can get some great deals.
Paul's Cycles and BikeScene are both very good for instance at selling some older models at great prices. Evans do too.Dave S0 -
